KRC hosted a public-facing roundtable marking the 70th Anniversary of the Korean War Armistice. This roundtable brought together Korea specialists, historians, and experts on international and strategic affairs, with the goal of remembering the Korean War and Australia’s role in it, as well as considering what the lack of an actual peace treaty means for both Australia’s and the Republic of Korea’s (ROK) current and future strategic concerns.
The event was held at Curtin's 139 St Georges Terrace building in Perth and was followed by a lunch generously sponsored by the GAROK Korea & State Government Office at the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea, Sydney.
